Our own story being part of a greater story.
Not just a greater story, but the story of our Creator who involves us in His story.
Many people before us were a part of this story, and many people will become part of this story.
People who are set apart. We have a purpose so much greater than just ourselves, something
beyond myself.
People use their talents and gifts, we speak words of love and appreciation (Gifted, working in teams
or with one another, developing new ideas, inventing to ease labour) to build towards this new city,
even if they come up against their own limits because we bruise and we bleed. (Limits in lack of
energy, lack of time, lack of knowledge, lack of finances). They do their best, but mistakes are inevitable. So, we all must live with the consequences of our mistakes, because we hurt and speak
words of hate (Broken, lacking motivation, pursuing an egocentric way of dealing with things in the
West, planning poorly), at least for now. For now, we live in a broken world, on its way to be
redeemed as a heavenly city.
We are a part of Gods story, and we don’t have to do everything alone. We Have a God who wants a
relationship with us, he wants to partner with us, work with us. So, he sends His only son (part of the
trinity) to pay for our mistakes. Not only pay, but he come as a child to live with us in a broken
world, to be part of our brokenness, so the Creator of the universe can relate with us.
